The Sirens are mythical creatures whose enchanting voices lure sailors to their doom. Singing of knowledge, longing, and hidden truths, they draw ships toward jagged rocks where they are wrecked. Their song promises fulfilment but delivers destruction. Odysseus, warned of their power, has himself bound to the mast so he can hear their voices without yielding. The Sirens embody temptation—irresistible, beautiful, and ultimately fatal to those who listen unguarded. Even Sirens have to sleep, perchance to dream.
Even the siren must close her eyes.
Song falls silent, and the sea loosens its hold.
In sleep, she drifts beyond the pull she casts.
