Many of the women in history have been passed down to us as nameless images. Often recording in relation to their husbands, fathers or macabrely the monsters that devoured them. Dissecting sections of other drawings I etched them into the background of this piece, representing the sense of time, place and shift. Each nameless woman becomes another as each monster shifts from dragon to baselisk, sea monster to winged demon.
